All they need is to submit the QR health card offered under the plan to a network hospital. Once the card is submitted, the verification process starts and the treatment starts as soon as the quick verification is over. Hence, there is no waiting period for the patient to initiate the treatment. Also, being cashless claims, the financial burden on the family of the policyholder is removed under the plan.
Once the treatment is done the network hospital shares the hospitalization details with the insurer and the payment gets done without the involvement of the beneficiary.
